GCSU Email Requirements
Retirees are eligible and are given the option to keep their GCSU email address when they retire. If you keep your GCSU email, you agree to the following requirement:
- Confirm annually that you want to keep your access. Information Technology will send you a request each year to verify you want to retain access for another year.
- Email use requires authentication through DUO.
- The security and training requirements are required per USG policy. GCSU performs semi-annual Information Security Awareness training required of everyone with an account (faculty, staff, retirees, contractors, and student workers). The requirement may not be waived.
- You will need to log in to your GCSU email account regularly to help ensure you receive notifications and comply with requirements.
Retirees who fail to comply with the requirements may lose the privilege of retaining their GCSU email account.
